Founded in 1982 IMJ Group is headquartered in Osaka, Japan and has approx. 150 employees. Our philosophy is to make the best available solutions by importing and distributing state-of-the-art medical instruments/devices.
For over 30 years IMJ Group has been delivering high-quality medical instruments/devices to the Japanese market.
IMJ Group has a team of dynamic personnel throughout Japan with more than 200 local dealers covering the entire Japanese market.
The nation is divided into 5 blocks and more than 50 sales representatives sell and promote products in partnership with our contracted local dealers.
IMJ Group consists of two companies: Intermed Japan, Inc. and JSS corporation.
Intermed Japan and JSS (Japan Surgical Specialties) were founded in 1982 and 1991 respectively. In 2006, a strategic decision was made to make Intermed Japan into a respiratory and anesthetic oriented specialist and JSS into an endoscopic and open surgery specialist.
